Roddy, Inc. Represents Purchaser of Proctor & Gamble Facility
Frank Roddy, President of Roddy Inc., the Bensalem, PA based Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firm, represented Joseph L. and Marion M. Wesley in the acquisition of the Proctor & Gamble Company Facility located at 935 Laidlaw Avenue, Cincinnati, OH. The property consists of 11.3 acres offering extensive frontage along Interstate I-75 and is presently improved with a one-story office structure of 3,600 sf. The Wesley's paid $850,000.00 for the property.
The Wesley's will develop the property and lease it on a long-term basis to their operating company, Amquip Corporation. Joseph L. Wesley, President of Amquip Corporation, advised that the property will be improved with a state-of-the-art crane service facility offering 18,000 sf and 3,600 sf of offices. The entire site will be paved, fenced and lit to store the company's fleet of cranes as well as warehousing its customer's product. The new buildings and site improvements should be completed in December 2004 at an estimated cost of $3,500,000.
