Roddy Inc., the Bensalem, PA based Industrial and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firm, represented Joseph L. and Marion M. Wesley, the principals of Amquip Corporation, in the acquisition of the former Bob Young Trucking Company property located at 2005 Industrial Drive, Bethlehem, PA.
The 5.5 acres site is occupied by a one-story truck service and warehouse facility containing approximately 14,000 square feet.
Frank Roddy, President of Roddy Inc., who represented the Wesley's in acquiring the property advised that the Wesley's paid $1,250,000.00 in an all cash transaction.
The property is contiguous to Amquip Corporation's existing facility as well as the Consolidated Freightways Truck Terminal facility, which the Wesley's acquired less than two weeks ago.
Roddy advised that this acquisition, together with the Consolidated Freightways Truck Terminal and the Amquip Corporation facility brings the Wesley's total holdings at Route 22, Shoenersville Road and Industrial Drive to approximately fifteen (15) acres.
The Wesley's bought the property for investment purposes and will be exploring development opportunities for the property over the next few months and may consider leasing the property for the next year or two until their development plans are finalized.
